November 3 & 4, 2003 - Eindhoven, The Netherlands. The first European Symposium on Ambient Intelligence will be organised in Eindhoven, The Netherlands on 3 & 4 November 2003, in conjunction with the second open workshop of the ITEA - AMBIENCE project. The symposium will bring together state-of-the-art research on Ambient Intelligence in Europe. Ambient Intelligence can be defined as the merger of technology advancements in ubiquitous computing with new insights in intelligent user interaction concepts.
The symposium addresses the use of the following research areas in Ambient Intelligence systems:
